Grilled boneless pork chops; roasted potatoes with garlic and rosemary; grilled asparagus – 14 April 2012

D took two Costco pork chops – by which I mean almost 1/2 pound each, boneless, and an inch and a half thick – and grilled them over rosemary (taken out today by our wondrous neighbor T), after a first searing. He was concerned they were not done enough, and sliced one and regrilled the slices. (That was the one we split for dinner.) He also roasted some potato chunks (Yukon Golds, I’m sure) tossed with olive oil and rosemary, and grilled some asparagus. It was a great dinner!

He pulled up a Two Mile Dry Creek Valley Syrah, 2007, which was (not surprisingly) really excellent. D thought it was a bit too much for the meal, but I liked it just fine.
